Last night with some friends I was fortunate enough to see, “BEAST OF THE SOUTHERN WILD”
It was by far my favorite movie I’ve seen this year, and maybe in a loooong time. Of course it doesn’t hurt the film was made in Southeastern Louisiana.

Film Description: “Waters gonna rise up, wild animals gonna rerun from the grave, and everything south of the levee is goin’ under, in this tale of a six year old named Hushpuppy played by newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis, who lives with her daddy at the edge of the world.”
